Amendola Family Cigar Co. has announced the launch of the Amendola Signature Series Cannoli Sumatra (aka Cannoli Green) and Amendola Signature Series Cannoli Connecticut (aka Cannoli White).
These cigars follow the Dec. 2020 debut of Amendola Signature Series Cannoli San Andres (aka Cannoli Red), with the trio representing the colors of the Italian flag. As Amendola is owned by Jeffrey Amendola and Christopher Monaco, the duo have themed the cigars around their Italian lifestyle, offering dessert-like profiles that pair well with coffee and after-dinner drinks.
Amendola Signature Series Cannoli Sumatra features a Sumatra wrapper over all-Nicaraguan binder/fillers and is described as a medium take on the San Andres blend. The Signature Series Cannoli Connecticut is the most mild of the three, using an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper and undisclosed interior recipe.
All three cigars are rolled in Nicaragua at Erik Espinosa’s La Zona factory, with each being offered in a singular 5½” x 42 corona format at launch. Each is priced at $9 MSRP/cigar.
It was roughly one year ago that Amendola Family Cigar Co. announced the company’s transition from the Tabacalera Kafie factory in Danlí, Honduras, splitting production between the Aganorsa Leaf factory and the La Zona factory, both located in Nicaragua.
