La Gloria Cubana has announced its latest offering as the Medio Tiempo, a cigar that makes use of the higher-priming medio tiempo tobacco at the core of the cigar’s blend.
Rolled at the El Credito “factory within a factory” (located within the General Cigar Dominicana facility in the Dominican Republic), La Gloria Cubana Medio Tiempo begins with an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper and is joined with a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and Honduran, Nicaraguan, Dominican, and sun-grown Connecticut Havano medio tiempo filler tobaccos.
Differing from the recently-announced La Gloria Cubana Spirit of the Lady cigar, the LGC Medio Tiempo is not limited edition, instead slated to become a regular addition to the core lineup upon its May 4th launch. The cigars will be distributed by The Forged Cigar Company and will debut in three sizes (each packaged in boxes of 25 cigars), with prices ranging from $6.99 to $7.79 SRP:
- Robusto: 5” x 54 | $6.99
- Toro: 6⅛” x 50 | $7.49
- Churchill: 7¼” x 54 | $7.79
