Twenty twenty-one marks an impressive milestone for AVO Cigars, being the 20th anniversary of the brand’s annual Limited Edition Series—today known as the Improvisation Series.
Avo Uvezian first launched a limited-edition cigar in 2001, being released to coincide with his birthday on March 22. Since this time, the company has consistently maintained an annual limited release—being among the longest-running such series in the world of premium cigars.
Today, AVO Cigars has announced the next cigar in the series as AVO Improvisation Series LE21. The cigar makes use of four distinct filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic; these leaves are bound in an Ecuadorian leaf and finished in a dark Ecuadorian sun-grown wrapper.
AVO Improvisation Series LE21 is rolled in a 7½” x 50 double corona format and packaged in boxes of 20 cigars. As usual, the cigars are priced at $16 apiece (MSRP) and will be released alongside Uvezian’s birthday—what would’ve been his 95th—on March 22. AVO will release 2,500 boxes (50,000 cigars) to the US market and an additional 4,550 boxes (91,000 cigars) globally.
