JR Cigar has announced their latest exclusive cigar the Romeo y Julieta Devoción.
Handcrafted in Honduras at the Flor de Copan factory for the world’s largest cigar manufacturer, Altadis U.S.A., Devoción is hand rolled using only the finest aged tobaccos available. It starts out with Dominican Pilotico and Honduran filler tobaccos for a smooth and complex center. This is followed by a stout American binder and a flawless Ecuadorian Habano wrapper.
“Devoción is the Spanish word for devotion and it was the devotion of not just the cigar industry employees, but also our loyal customers and the cigar community at large that inspired the name and the blend,” says JR Cigar.
A solid, medium bodied cigar, Devoción is a great combination of complex flavor and top-notch construction. Zesty pepper notes from the wrapper blend effortlessly with the aged fillers to give hints of cinnamon, leather and just a touch of sweetness. The burn is straight and true to the end and the ash is solid and white all the way through.
“It is an honor and a privilege to collaborate with the Grupo de Maestros and the team at Flor de Copan on this project. This amazing blend for Romeo y Julieta Devocion combines perfectly aged Dominican Pilotico and Honduran tobaccos to produce a rich and complex cigar.” says Rafael Nodal, Head of Product Capability for Altadis USA about the project. “The result of the devotion of this team of experts throughout the entire process, from seed to shelf, is one of the best cigars available anywhere in the world.”
Offered in 20-count boxes, the Romeo y Julieta Devoción is available in four sizes: 5.5 x 48 Robusto ($9.00 per cigar, $143.95 per box); 6 x 52 Toro ($9.25 per cigar, $147.95 per box); 6.12 x 54 Belicoso ($9.50 per cigar, $151.95 per box); and 6 x 60 Magnum ($9.75 per cigar, $155.95 per box).
