HVC is set to become the latest manufacturer to participate in the ongoing Firecracker series by Two Guys Smoke Shop, blending a tweaked version of the HVC Black Friday to fit the series’ notoriously explosive character.

The series first launched in 2007 with the Don Pepin Garcia Original (Blue Label) Firecracker, since expanding to include a new manufacturer nearly every year following. Firecracker cigars are known for their short sizes (usually 3½” x 50), fuse-tail caps that are tucked beneath the band, and amped-up smoking profiles. While each year has typically featured a single addition to the series, HVC’s Firecracker will mark the second release for 2020 (and the 10th release overall), following the Perdomo Firecracker earlier this summer.

With HVC Black Friday Firecracker, company owner, Reinier Lorenzo, set out to offer a fuller-bodied experience while retaining the balance of a larger-sized cigar. The cigars are rolled at the Aganorsa Leaf factory in Estelí, featuring Nicaraguan Criollo ’98 and Corojo ’99 leaves throughout the filler, a Nicaraguan binder, and an Ecuadorian Habano Café wrapper.

HVC Black Friday Firecracker will launch on Nov. 11th, being rolled in a 3½” x 50 Firecracker format. The cigars are limited to 500 boxes of 20 cigars, priced at $150 per box MSRP ($7.50 per cigar).
