Herrera Esteli Connecticut Broadleaf Lancero Launching Nationally

Drew Estate today announced that the 2016 limited launch of the Herrera Esteli Connecticut Broadleaf Lancero Tienda Exclusiva is being revived for a national release, being offered exclusively to Drew Diplomat-authorized retailers across the country.

Wrapped in Drew Estate’s famed stockpile of high-priming Connecticut Broadleaf, the Lancero Tienda Exclusiva was first introduced as part of the fan-favorite H-Town series by Houston-based retailer, Stogies World Class Cigars. This series featured unique blends/sizes from many of the industry’s most sought-after names—with all being offered in lancero formats. For Willy Herrera, Master Blender at Drew Estate, this amounted to a 7″ x 38 cigar using Nicaraguan fillers, a Brazilian Mata Fina binder, and a Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper.

There is always a challenge to blending lanceros. Sure, you have amazing broadleaf that’s going to really provide that burst of rich flavor, but the trick is how you bunch the filler leaves in a way that provides the complexity, so the cigar doesn’t become one dimensional. Herrera Esteli Connecticut Broadleaf Lancero Tienda Exclusiva will be sold in flat-style boxes of 15 cigars, priced at $186.96 MSRP ($12.46 per cigar). This cigars will be showcased first on the upcoming Freestyle Live: Special Edition, hosted on facebook.com/drewestatecigar on June 11th from 7:00-9:00pm EST. The cigars are then slated to begin shipping this September.
