Preliminary details on Cigar Dojo’s next limited-edition collaboration were first revealed in November, detailing the cigar’s concept and blend profile. The cigars are now ready for launch, with 300 bundles of 10 cigars receiving final packaging and shipment to retailer, Smoke Inn Cigars, located in South Florida.
The project is dubbed Uru Doshi, being the Japanese translation of leap year. As such, the cigars have been custom designed, taking cue from Cigar Dojo’s Asian influence, featuring the style of traditional Japanese artwork. Partnering with Alec & Bradley Cigars, Uru Doshi showcases primarily Honduran tobaccos, selecting leaves from lots not seen throughout Alec & Bradley’s portfolio (as well as parent company, Alec Bradley Cigar Co., for that matter) to offer an atypical, flavor-forward smoking experience. Additionally, Uru Doshi boasts Nicaraguan tobaccos in the cigar’s double binder and filler recipe.
Tying into the leap year theme, Uru Doshi will launch on Saturday, Feb. 29th, 2020 (aka Leap Day), being sold exclusively through online retailer, Smoke Inn Cigars. Details on how to secure Uru Doshi before the cigars become open to the public can be found below.
