Today, Crowned Heads announced a limited expression of its CHC Reserve XVIII (Crowned Heads Court) line, which initially debuted in 2018 in homage to the brand’s loyalists (aka the Crown Heads ‘Court’).

The limited-edition cigar is dubbed CHC Reserve XVIII Full Court Press LE 2019—a lengthy title that was inspired while Crowned Heads co-founder Jon Huber was watching last season’s NBA playoffs:

The idea came to me last May during the NBA playoffs. Initially, I tossed the name out there somewhat as a corny double entendre, but the more I thought about it the more I liked the idea of releasing a box-pressed expression of the CHC Reserve. Once I smoked the sample it was a no-brainer  to go to production.Crowned Heads co-founder/owner Jon Huber

CHC Reserve XVIII Full Court Press LE 2019 features a 5⅞” x 52 box-pressed size of the original CHC Reserve blend, which has been manufactured at the Tabacalera La Alianza factory (aka Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s facility) in the Dominican Republic. Production has been limited to 1,700 12-count boxes for 2019, which will retail for $11.95 SRP per cigar.
