Cubariqueño Cigar Company owners Juan Cancel and Bill Ives showcased the most premium cigars to date under the Protocol name at the 2019 IPCPR trade show. The brand is Protocol Sir Robert Peel—a two-part collection that offers either an Ecuadorian Rosado or Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper atop the same all-Nicaraguan filler recipe. Also offered was a national debut of the corona gorda format in the brand’s Protocol Themis lineup.
