Caldwell Cigar Company was primarily concerned with tweaks to its core lineup at IPCPR 2019, placing its primary emphasis on clean new packaging for the brand’s best sellers (with more to follow). The new look was displayed on the Eastern Standard, Eastern Standard Sungrown, Long Live the King, and The King is Dead cigars.
Also displayed was the Blind Man’s Bluff Maduro (though this had been released prior to the show), The T. Habano (the final blend in a three-part collaboration between Caldwell, Matt Booth, and A.J. Fernández), and two limited spinoffs of Caldwell’s TKID and LLTK cigars, which are made at Fernández’s factory in Nicaragua as his own interpretation of the blends. These cigars are dubbed The King is Dead by AJ Fernandez and Long Live the King by AJ Fernandez, respectively, and will be limited to 250 boxes of each size.
