One year after the 300 HANDS/300 MANOS project was first unveiled by Southern Draw Cigars, the company is now set to launch a third variant at the 2019 IPCPR trade show—held in Las Vegas later this month.

Adding to the Habano and maduro-wrapped blends, there will now be a Connecticut offering, dubbed ‘300 HANDS Connecticut.’ The cigars are produced at the famed A.J. Fernández factory in Estelí, making use of a Connecticut Shade wrapper (USA), Peruvian binder, and fillers of Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic (some of which are said to be Corojo ’99 seed).

Announced a year ago we are reminded that that 300 HANDS, is an all too real story of collaboration told through a value line of premium cigars from Southern Draw Cigars. The result of approximately 300 small steps and those hands producing nearly identical handmade rolled bundles of our patiently aged and naturally fermented tobaccos that we know as premium cigars.

The cigars continue the project’s focus on the people of Nicaragua and the individual stories of those that craft the cigars themselves.

The process of hand making a premium cigar is a deliberate marriage of art and skill that has been passed down from generation to generation and our beloved Nicaragua, with its complex tobaccos and dedicated people, is now the most prominent supplier of this unique art form to the United States and the company is honored to share this charitable project with our retail partners and consumers.

300 HANDS Connecticut will be offered in the same five sizes as last year’s releases, with prices ranging from $6 to $6.50 per cigar. The cigars will make their debut later this month, with an estimated 250,000 cigars (5,000 bundles per size) shipping nationwide throughout August and October.
