Ventura Cigar Co. is set to debut the fifth cigar in the company’s PSyKo SEVEN brand, partnering with Indiana Ortez and the famed Agrotabacos factory in Condega, Nicaragua for production.
PSyKo SEVEN first launched in 2013 and has since expanded to include followup blends such as the PSyKo SEVEN Maduro, Connecticut, and Maduro Psykorillos; together helping to familiarize consumers with the Ventura brand. With PSyKo SEVEN Nicaragua, Ventura has handed the reins to rising star Indiana Ortez, daughter of famed blender Omar Ortez and third-generation cigarmaker in Nicaragua.
Indiana spearheaded the project with her trademark enthusiasm and expertise, testing blend after blend to get exactly the essence she was looking for. The result is the bold and complex PSyKo SEVEN Nicaragua; offering rich, nuanced flavors that constantly evolve throughout the smoking experience. It’s a cigar that invites you to unleash the madness and experience the spirit of Nicaragua.
The cigars feature a 2007-vintage Desflorada wrapper and are made to showcase a fresh perspective of Nicaragua’s unique characteristics. The blend will first debut at next week’s Tobacconists Association of America (TAA) meeting in the Dominican Republic and will launch in three sizes (Robusto, Toro, and Gordo), each packaged in 20-count boxes.
PSyKo SEVEN Nicaragua is not the first collaboration with Indiana Ortez, as Ventura previously partnered with the young blender to introduce Ventura’s Fathers, Friends, and Fire limited edition cigar in the spring of 2018.
