Following last week’s annual Tobacconists Association of America (TAA) trade show—held at the Casa de Campo resort in the Dominican
Republic—the association has now revealed the full list of exclusive brands that will be available for the 2019 year.
Regarding the TAA:
Each year, a select group of cigar retailers, priding themselves on the upmost care and knowledge of premium cigars and customer service, gather in [unique destinations] for their annual trade show. Joining in on the fun are various manufacturers, bringing with them exclusive sizes and even exclusive and limited edition blends—a trend that has been steadily growing at the TAA in recent years.
The TAA’s exclusive releases can be divided into two categories: ongoing and limited edition. Ongoing cigars are released each year, using the same blend/size but being available only to TAA-authorized retailers. Limited edition releases, however, often showcase new cigar blends, sizes, and quantities. Together, these cigars are contained within a collection that the TAA dubs “The Exclusive Series.”
