Davidoff’s highly acclaimed Robusto Real Especiales 7 cigar is set to return after a 15-year hiatus, being rolled in limited-edition quantities for an April 2019 release.
First introduced in 2004, Robusto Real Especiales 7 was hailed for its innovative blend of seven unique tobaccos—a feat thought to be impossible by experts at that time (maintaining a consistent draw with such a large quantity of ingredients). The cigars have been recreated for 2019, using an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Dominican binder and a wide range of Dominican-grown fillers.
Davidoff Robusto Real Especiales 7 arrives in two packaging formats: 10-count wooden boxes (available at Davidoff Appointed Merchants and Flagship Stores), and 4-count packages (exclusively available in Global Travel Retail). Robusto Real Especiales 7 features Davidoff’s standard primary band, along with a special sub-band signifying the cigars as “Especiales 7.” The cigar’s boxes and packs feature a new icon highlighting the cigars as “Vintage Blend.”
Robusto Real Especiales 7 is rolled in a singular 5½” x 48 robusto format, with pricing set at $28.50 per cigar (SRP). Launch dates are said to vary by country, with April being the general time frame.
