First teased by Casey Haugen (vice president of Crux Cigars) on the Dec. 5th episode of Smoke Night Live, the company has now formally announced its Short Salomone Series of cigars.
With this new collection, Crux has taken some of their more popular brands (Epicure, Guild, and Limitada) and introduced skillfully crafted Salomone formats, sized at 6″ x 54. These cigars will be produced in limited quantities, ranging from 200 to 500 boxes of 10 cigars per line.
Differing from regular-production Crux cigars, which are made at the Plasencia Cigars S.A. factory, the Short Salomone Series is rolled by a single pair at the La Catedral de Tabaco factory in Esteli. The cigars are made on a limited basis but are not true limited editions, with additional production expected at a later date. Prices range from $11.99 to $13.99 per cigar. Crux is now taking retailer pre-orders and will begin shipping the cigars in spring 2019.
