A little over a year after first releasing the highly anticipated Boondock Saint cigar in 2017, Black Works Studio (BLK WKS) has now launched the cigar’s followup, which will arrive at retailers throughout the week.
The Boondock Saint is a perfect example of a balanced cigar. The profile is rich, complex and bold, with tons of subtle flavors. The cigar is both strong and refined, with a very elegant finish. The Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper combined with the Connecticut Broadleaf & Nicaraguan filler create flavors of anise, clove, dark fruits, bitter cocoa and earth. This blend highlights the many complexities in the broadleaf and Nicaraguan tobaccos used.James Brown, creator of BLK WKS
The 2018 release of Boondock Saint features the same blend and sizes as last year’s cigars. The only difference appears to be the price, which has been raised by 50 cents per cigar.
