In a press release today, Gurkha has announced the return of flavored cigars to their lineup, which will debut at next week’s IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas.
The company’s offerings of flavored cigars from 12 years ago have returned, using flavored pipe tobacco to give the cigars their unique character. Three varieties will be offered at launch: Café Tabac (featuring hints of coffee), Red Head (featuring hints of cherry), and White Rascal (featuring hints of vanilla).
“The cigars are a response to the increasing requests and demand for a flavored product. The company worked with its master blenders to come up with a highly rated blend of spicy, flavorful tobacco from the Dominican Republic with the perfect hint of sweetness and flavor.”
Gurkha’s flavored cigars are rolled in two formats, a 5″ x 52 robusto that is packaged in boxes of 25 ($160 MSRP), and 4″ x 34 petits that are packaged in 5-count tins ($14 MSRP).
