Launching tomorrow at a pre-release event in Pittsburgh, James Brown and Jim “Island Jim” Robinson have collaborated on Leaf by James.
Leaf by James is the fourth cigar under Robinson’s Leaf series, where he has collaborated with rising stars in the cigar blending arena to showcase unique smoking experiences for his iconic Leaf and Bean retail lounge. Other Leaf collaborations include Leaf by Noel, Leaf by Esteban, and Leaf by Oscar—the most well known project in the series.
Leaf by James features a maduro blend highlighted by a dark Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper; the binder is Ecuadorian Habano and the fillers are all-Nicaraguan. The cigars are rolled in a singular 6″ x 50 toro vitola and are slated for a nation-wide summer release—distributed by Jim Robinson—most likely becoming available at IPCPR 2018 in Las Vegas.
