For the third consecutive year, Cubariqueño Cigar Co. will debut a lancero cigar at the annual IPCPR trade show. Historically, the company has released a 7½” x 38 lancero vitola one year after launching a core-line brand (2016: Protocol Lancero, 2017: Probable Cause Lancero, 2018: Themis Lancero).

The Protocol Themis Lancero was originally teased on this year’s Cigar Dojo excursion to Estelí in February, where Dojo members posted samplings of the lanceros from the La Zona factory and A.J. Fernández’s compound.  The cigars are now ready for a full release, currently available at BerkeleyHumidor.com and shipping to other retailers on July 1st. The cigars will then make their first official appearance on July 13th at the IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas.

Protocol Themis Lancero will be packaged in boxes of 10 cigars—differing from the paper bundles of prior lancero releases—and sold for an SRP of $10.50 per cigar ($105.00 per box).

Also on display will be Cubariqueño’s fourth core-line release—Official Misconduct. Differing from the past two years, where Cubariqueño occupied a small booth near Espinosa Premium Cigars, the company will now be housed within Espinosa’s booth for 2018.
