Following last week’s successful ReviveR releaseย (a collaboration with Cigar Dojo),ย Aganorsa Leaf has announced the company’s first new product for the 2018 IPCPR trade show, titledย Signature Selection.
Signature Selection has been blended by company ownersย Eduardo Fernรกndez and his son Max Fernรกndez and is designed to reflect the upper tier of the modernizedย Aganorsa Leaf portfolio. As such, the cigars make use of a Nicaraguan Aganorsa puro blend, focusing onย Corojo ’99 and Criollo ’98 seed varietals from the family’s best fields of Jalapa and Estelรญ. In addition to a Jalapanย Rosado Claro Corojo ’99 wrapper, the blend is highlighted by the use of rarely used medio tiempo tobacco in the cigar’s filler;ย Aganorsa Leaf describes this combination as “enriching the cigar with an intensity of flavors and complexity.”

The cigars are being offered in four sizes that feature unique shapes and designs, such as aย 109-style head on the Belicoso and aย butterfly cap on theย Corona Gorda. Because of the scarcity of the tobaccos used, the cigars are being offered in seasonal batches, with 500 boxes of 25 cigars per size being offered for 2018.
