Just over a year after Michael Giannini parted ways with General Cigar Company, the former creative director has now joined Ventura Cigar Company’s marketing team, taking the role of creative director.
Giannini has been involved in the industry for over 30 years, beginning as a pipe tobacco blender at a local retailer of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. He later took a job with Ashton and eventually La Gloria Cubana, where the company was later acquired by General Cigar. Michael spent 17 years with General and is best known for his innovations with the LGC brand and Foundry Tobacco Company.
Ventura Cigar Company is based in Southern California and has their many brands—including Archetype, Case Study, Project805, and PSyKo SEVEN—produced in various factories and countries, such as Davidoff’s facilities and Drew Estate’s La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate factory.
