Just over a year afterย Michael Giannini parted ways with General Cigar Company, the formerย creative director has now joinedย Ventura Cigar Company’s marketing team, taking the role ofย creative director.

Giannini has been involved in the industry for over 30 years, beginning as a pipe tobacco blender at a local retailer ofย King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. He later took a job with Ashton and eventually La Gloria Cubana, where the company was later acquired by General Cigar.ย Michael spent 17 years with General and is best known for his innovations with the LGC brand andย Foundry Tobacco Company.

Ventura Cigar Company is based in Southern California and has their many brandsโ€”includingย Archetype, Case Study, Project805, and PSyKo SEVENโ€”produced in various factories and countries, such as Davidoff’s facilities and Drew Estate’s La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate factory.
