Joya de Nicaragua is set to launch a new variety of their famed Antaño 1970 cigar line.

As announced in a press release today, Joya has refined the Antaño 1970 cigar blend, showcasing more select tobaccos that include 5-year-aged fillers.

The main alteration that comes with the Antaño Gran Reserva is that we have added fillers that have been aged for up to five years. As a result, we have obtained a more refined and mature version of the Antaño 1970.Juan Ignacio Martínez, Executive President of Joya de Nicaragua

This announcement comes shortly after Joya announced a rebranding of Antaño’s sister blend, Antaño Dark Corojo—with the two cigars now featuring a similar look/feel.
