March Madness 2017 starts now!

UPDATE: Entries for this contest have been closed. You can keep up to date on who is leading this contest here.

For the past few years, we’ve taken a casual approach to the annual tournament, with participants “buying in” with 5 cigars per bracket and awarding the pool of cigars to the top brackets.

But this year, we’ve taken the gamble out of the equation. With Pure Aroma Cigars (D’Crossier) sponsoring our March Madness 2017 Bracket Challenge prizes!

Three full boxes are up for grabs, with a total MSRP value of nearly $650!

See below for rules & prizes

Since the NCAA Tournament has already begun you can no longer enter this contest.

Grand Prize

Our grand prize winner will receive a full box of 25 D’Crossier Golden Blend Aged 10 Years cigars in the ultra-premium 6 1/8 ” x 52 Torpedo vitola!

In case you’ve missed the buzz surrounding these cigars on the Dojo, these sticks are money! The cigars currently hold a solid 92 point score on Cigar Dojo. Typically, Santana (Pure Aroma Cigars owner) has been known to blend mild-medium bodied cigars, but with this blend, he gave the cigars a nice kick of ligero, giving a much-welcomed strength to balance the subtle D’Crossier complexities. The palate is very Cubanesque, showing notes of sweet cream, roasted nuts, aged tobacco, and buttered toast. Valued at $347.50 MSRP.

Runner-up Winner #1

Our 2nd place winner will receive a full, 12-count box of D’Crossier Presidential Collection Pennsylvania Avenue in the 5 7/8″ x 54 Taino vitola!

D’Crossier has long embraced their support for our great country with the Diplomacy Series. The cigars gained their latest addition last summer with the new Pennsylvania Avenue cigars, introduced at the 2016 IPCPR show. This 12-count box of Taino (short torpedo) cigars features the message, “Protect our rights and freedoms in the land of the free,” on the box’s face. These cigars showcase a beautiful Habano Criollo Especial wrapper, a Habano binder, and fillers from Brazil and the Dominican Republic. The cigars are described as medium to full body with a full range of flavors, being aged in brand owner Santana Diaz’s humidor for approximately 19 months. Valued at $144 MSRP.
