For beer fanatics, Oktoberfest is like Christmas! Beginning in 1810, Germans have hosted the world’s largest beer festivals, beginning in mid-September and lasting up to 18 days, into the first week of October. But it’s not just the festival itself, it’s the specific Märzen-style beer, coinciding with the fall season that has spread this Munich festival across the world. And while only 6 breweries are officially certified to serve Oktoberfestbiers, only 1 cigar brand holds the right to officially pair with the occasion… Quesada Cigars’ world-famous Oktoberfest!
Contest Theme: Oktoberfest 2016
Oktoberfest officially begins September 17, 2016, but we’re getting things fired up a little early! Let’s join Quesada in celebrating their 6th annual release of the fan-favorite Oktoberfest cigars, kicking off the fall season with Oktoberfest beers and cigars.
This week, post your Oktoberfest entries on the Dojo app for a chance to win Quesada cigars. Show us your Bavarian beer steins, lederhosen for the men, and dirndl dresses for the women – along with anything else German/beer/fall/Oktoberfest related, for that matter!
One grand prize winner will receive the new, limited edition, Quesada Oktoberfest Brauhaus Humidor! This 100-ct humidor is modeled after none other than a Bavarian-style “brauhaus” or “beer-house”. Form and function come together to offer a fun collector’s piece, one that will keep your Oktoberfest cigars conditioned to perfection!
Runner-up winners
There will be THREE 2nd place winners this week, all will receive a 5-pack sampling of Quesada cigars! Each winner will receive 4 Quesada Oktoberfest cigars in the new Kugel vitola (5″ x 38 x 58 x 44), using the original Dominican blend (tweaked to accommodate the intricate shape). Each winner will also receive 1 Quesada Reserva Privada Oscuro in 5⅝ x 54 Toro size.

Our contest this week will run from Wednesday, September 14th at 3pm (MDT) until the night of Friday, September 16th. The winners will be announced on Friday night during this week’s episode of Smoke Night Live, featuring Terence Reilly of Quesada Cigars.
