The Rocky Patel Booth was similar to 2015’s version. There is a large, open space, with gridded-out pillars covering the entire space. Each pillar showcases new or highlighted brands from RP in an elegant fashion (also making for much better photo opportunities than most booths). Rocky is easily one of the busiest booths from a combination of free pours of Sam Adams, a legit Sinatra impersonator, and of course, RP never fails to introduce a few new and exciting brands for the following smoking season…

Fifty-Five

Like many cigar manufacturers, Rocky Patel never lets a good anniversary or celebration go unnoticed. In late 2010, the brand unveiled their most premium and expensive cigar to date: Rocky Patel Fifty (slightly ahead of Rocky’s birthday in February, 2011). Now, Rocky introduces the new Fifty-Five in celebration of another milestone (a part of what Rocky is calling their “Artisan Series”). The cigars don’t carry quite as steep of a price tag but are said to utilize a very premium blend. In a unique twist, every cigar (4 sizes) in the line showcases a 55 ring gauge and are skillfully rolled in figurado shapes, tapered at both ends.
