C.L.E. Cigar Co. will once again be releasing an exclusive cigar for the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA), a select group of retailers which pride themselves on superior service in the tobacco industry. Each year, a growing number of manufacturers have offered unique blends and/or sizes for TAA tobacconists.
In 2015, C.L.E. introduced the Nyctophilia under their Asylum sub-brand as a TAA exclusive. And for 2016 they will be showcasing a blend under the C.L.E. branding—titled C.L.E. Azabache.
The concept draws inspiration from a form of coal known as Azabache, which translates to “jet black”, which is used in Cuban jewelry. As can be expected, it will feature dark packaging and an equally dark Mexican maduro wrapper.
The cigars will be limited to 320 boxes of 25 per size and are expected to debut following the TAA convention in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in early March.
