Preorders have now begun for the latest project between C.L.E. Cigar Company and Asylum Cigars. Brand-runners Christian Eiroa and Tom Lazuka have co-blended a more “mild” offering than Asylum’s usual full-bodied, Nicaraguan-based blends.

The cigars will be called Asylum 13 Connecticut, using a light, Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over Honduran fillers.

Asylum cigars are known for being more full bodied and Nicaraguan. We wanted to blend something different and lighter into the portfolio.Tom Lazuka

Asylum 13 Connecticut preorders are currently being placed and will begin to ship at the end of February 2016.
