Limited edition cigar releases can be your best friend or your worst enemy, i.e. “the one that got away”… Of course, this all depends on a few factors—how limited the cigar is, how much money, how easy the cigar is to find, and most importantly, how tasty the cigar is!
Fortunately for you, the hungry cigar enthusiast, we’re about to let you in on an ancient Chinese secret… The Chinese Finger Trap! These new limited edition smokes are manufactured at the burgeoning La Zona factory in Estelí, Nicaragua and just so happen to hit the sweet spot on each of the aforementioned factors above.
Dojo members will have the first shot at purchasing The Chinese Finger Trap in the next few hours, but to make things a little more fun, we’ll be giving away TWO boxes of these crazy smokes to our lucky winners this week!
This week’s contest theme is: Dojo Kung Fu
Cigar Dojo has been offering cigar giveaways from the very beginning, nearly 3 years ago—it seems almost crazy that there has yet to be an oriental/kung fu-themed contest… until now! In honor of the Cigar Dojo community, MoyaRuiz draws inspiration in their limited releases from Cigar Dojo’s East Asian influence. So, for this special contest, we’re asking you to enter your inner-Bruce Lee and get kung fu smoking!
Some examples of an entry may be:
- Smoke a cigar while watching Kung Fu
- Smoke while wearing a karate gi
- Cut your cigar with a ninja throwing star
- Anything cigar AND kung fu related…

Entering the contest is as simple as:
- Take a cigar-related pic involving the “Kung Fu” theme
- Post your photo to the Cigar Dojo app

Box of 10 The Chinese Finger Trap Cigars
There will be TWO 1st place winners this week, both receiving the new, limited edition The Chinese Finger Trap cigars by Moya Ruiz! While not much is known of the cigar’s creation (ancient Chinese secret…), the cigars have been personally tested and approved by Master Sensei; dubbing the flavor profile as “dessert-like”, with notes of Graham cracker, caramelized brown sugar, and drizzled caramel syrup! Each box consists of 10 cigars in the 6″ × 50 Toro vitola.
NOTE: This week’s winners will be picked by the Cigar Dojo staff based on on artistic quality (best images), creativity, and originality.
