Casa Carrillo has announced a new limited-edition three-blend collector’s box, featuring cigars that will be distributed exclusively through the brand’s digital engagement platforms rather than traditional retail channels.

The project consists of three small-batch blends, each produced in a 6 x 52 toro format, with one blend rolled as a piramide. According to the company, the cigars are not part of Casa Carrillo’s regular production portfolio and were created specifically for this collector-focused release.

Blend details include:

  • Blend 1: Ecuador Connecticut wrapper, Connecticut Broadleaf binder, Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers
  • Blend 2 (Piramide): Mexican wrapper, Ecuador Habano binder, Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers
  • Blend 3: Ecuador Habano wrapper, Mexican binder, Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers

Rather than being sold at retail, the collector’s boxes will be awarded throughout the year through a series of social media contests and sweepstakes across Casa Carrillo’s digital channels. Winners will be selected at random from eligible participants.

Casa Carrillo has a history of involving consumers in brand initiatives, including past projects such as Pledge, whose name was chosen through consumer voting, and Platinum Bash, which incorporated community feedback into the blending process. The new collector’s box continues that participatory approach, pairing limited-production cigars with digital-first engagement.

The project officially launches during a live digital event on January 26 at 5:30 PM EST on the Casa Carrillo YouTube channel. The first round of winners will be selected during the event, with additional giveaways planned throughout the year.
