Indianapolis’ Blend Bar has officially rebranded its cigar lounge under the Atabey name following a new collaboration between United Cigars and Selected Tobacco. The move brings Nelson Alfonso’s Selected Tobacco portfolio—known for brands such as Atabey, Byron, Alfonso, Nelson, and Bandolero—into a more prominent role within the lounge’s identity.
Blend Bar, located just north of downtown Indianapolis, has long been recognized for pairing cigars with high-end spirits and a polished environment. The lounge features dark wood interiors, leather seating, and lighting designed with the cigar experience in mind. Guests can also expect a food menu built around small plates, steak sliders, desserts, and curated beverage pairings.
With the rebrand, the Atabey Lounge will highlight Selected Tobacco’s aging methods, which involve extended time in cedar-lined, controlled environments. United Cigars’ full portfolio will also remain available, expanding access to a wide mix of premium cigars from various producers.
“Our goal has always been to offer our guests an unforgettable experience,” said Corey Johnson, owner of Blend Bar. “Partnering with United Cigars and honoring the Atabey name allows us to deepen that mission.”
United Cigars continues to distribute a wide range of brands in the U.S., including Selected Tobacco’s offerings, Arnold André’s Montosa and Terra Nova, as well as Jose Dominguez, Yaya, and its own in-house lines such as Firecracker, Red Anchor, and United.
