Luciano Cigars is set to gain wider access across Canada thanks to a new partnership between Constella Group—the parent company behind the brand—and Kretek Canada. The agreement places Kretek in charge of distributing the Luciano and Constella portfolio nationwide, giving retailers a more direct path to the company’s offerings.
Kretek Canada is part of Kretek International, the parent of Phillips & King, a major distributor in the North American tobacco space. Constella Group has steadily grown its global presence, and Luciano Cigars has built a following in Canada over the past five years. By combining Kretek’s distribution network with Luciano’s existing market presence, both companies aim to increase visibility and streamline availability for Canadian retailers.
“We’ve had the privilege of watching Luciano Cigars establish their cigars as some of the most respected in the premium category,” said Nicolas Brum, Director for Kretek Canada. “Their passion, dedication, and commitment to excellence mirror our own values, and we’re proud to connect Canadian retailers and consumers with the Luciano and Constella brands.”
Luciano Meirelles, CEO of Luciano Cigars and President of Constella USA, added: “Kretek represents distribution excellence at the highest level. This collaboration is about shared purpose and mutual respect. We’ve built our brands on authenticity, quality, and relationships. Kretek embodies those same principles. Together, we’ll not only expand our reach but enrich the way premium cigars are experienced across Canada.”
The move comes as the Canadian premium cigar market continues to evolve despite regulatory hurdles. Retailers can expect more consistent access to Constella products and an expanded portfolio as the partnership takes effect.
