Plasencia Cigars has announced the addition of two new compact vitolas to its portfolio, designed for smokers who want a premium experience in a shorter timeframe. The new releases—Reserva Original Corona Corta (3 7/8 x 48) and Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro Robusto Corto (4 x 52)—are being referred to as the “Short Smokes Collection” and will begin shipping in October 2025.

The Reserva Original Corona Corta continues the brand’s commitment to organic cultivation, using 100% certified organic Nicaraguan tobacco from the Plasencia family’s farms in Estelí and Jalapa. The line, which previously earned a 92 rating and a spot in Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of 2022, is known for its naturally sweet, mild-to-medium profile with notes of cedar, caramel, nuts, and spice.

The Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro Robusto Corto brings a shorter expression of one of Plasencia’s most popular blends. Featuring a ten-year-aged Colorado Claro wrapper from Jalapa, this Nicaraguan puro delivers a medium-to-full profile highlighted by cream, baking spice, white pepper, and rich earthiness.

“Every cigar we craft tells the story of our family, our land, and our commitment to excellence,” said Néstor Andrés Plasencia. “With these new Short Smokes, we honor the modern smoker’s lifestyle, offering moments of indulgence that can be savored fully in less time.”

Both vitolas will arrive in 20-count boxes, with pricing set at $7.99 for the Reserva Original Corona Corta and $14.99 for the Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro Robusto Corto. They will be available at select retailers worldwide beginning in October 2025.
