Black Label Trading Company (BLTC) has announced the upcoming release of the Ligero Hawaii, a store exclusive for R. Field Wine Co. in Honolulu, Hawaii. The cigar is produced at BLTC’s Fabrica Oveja Negra in Estelí, Nicaragua.
For this version of the Ligero Hawaii, the company has swapped the original Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper for a Pennsylvania Broadleaf. “The Ligero Hawaii is one of my favorite releases from our R. Field Exclusives portfolio,” said James Brown, creator of BLTC and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra. “For this release we changed things up by using a PA Broadleaf wrapper instead of the original Ecuadorian Maduro. This big, bold cigar represents what Black Label Trading Co. is all about. The dark, earthy profile is blended with peppery spice creating an intense but elegant cigar.”
The cigar will be available in a single size, a 5.25 x 52 box-pressed Robusto, packaged in 10-count bundles with an MSRP of $11.50 per cigar. The blend features an Ecuador Habano binder over Nicaraguan fillers.
Ligero Hawaii will be sold exclusively through R. Field Wine Co. in Honolulu.
