Plasencia Cigars will present a new series of 5-packs featuring their Alma Fuerte and Alma Del Campo blends at the 2025 PCA trade show in New Orleans. The event, scheduled for April 11th through 14th, will mark the debut of six variations of these packs, which will be available for shipping in early April.
The decision to roll out these 5-packs follows their performance in the global Duty-Free channel and testing in select duty-paid markets. The new format aims to offer a practical option for cigar enthusiasts with busy schedules. “This compact size is ideal for busy individuals who appreciate the luxury of a premium cigar but also require a more practical option for their active lifestyles,” a representative from Plasencia Cigars noted.
The six variations to be showcased include four Alma Fuerte options—Néstor IV, Eduardo I, Robustus I, and Robustus II—with prices ranging from $21.45 to $23.35 per cigar, and two Alma Del Campo options—Sendero and Tribu—priced at $19.65 and $17.10 per cigar, respectively. Each pack contains five cigars, crafted with the attention to detail Plasencia is known for, according to the company.
The introduction of these 5-packs reflects Plasencia’s ongoing efforts to adapt their offerings to evolving consumer preferences, with the PCA trade show serving as the launch platform for this initiative.
