Meerapfel Cigar, a family business with roots dating back to 1610, announced the launch of its 2025 Création Liberté cigar at the PCA Convention & Trade Show in New Orleans. The cigar, a Toro measuring 6 x 50, is rolled with a Cameroon wrapper and features tobacco aged for decades in the company’s vaults in Europe’s capital.
The Création Liberté is produced in a limited run of 613 Paulownia-wood chests, each containing two cigars, totaling 1,226 cigars. Priced at $249 USD per chest, the cigars will be shipped globally in the coming weeks. Proceeds from the sales will support the Premium Cigar Association’s advocacy efforts.
This release follows the inaugural Création Liberté, which aimed to fund cigar rights movements worldwide. The 2025 edition continues Meerapfel’s commitment to blending tradition with industry support.
