Selected Tobacco has introduced the Byron 21st Century Aristocratas 10-Year Aged, an 8 x 52 cigar, at the PCA event on April 7, 2025. This release follows the sold-out Atabey Dioses and Misticos 10-Year Aged editions from 2023. With a limited number of boxes produced, this cigar features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, a Peruvian binder, and a blend of Peruvian and Nicaraguan fillers.

Typically aged for four years in cedar-lined humidors, this version has been aged for a decade using Nelson Alfonso’s method of varying humidity levels. The process takes place in humidors lined with multiple cedar types, aiming to enhance the cigar’s flavor and aroma over time. “For me, aging cigars is like raising child, you must give attention every day. Ten years is not easy. But the cigar now is art. It is soft, but strong. Elegant, but full. This is my passion,” said Nelson Alfonso, founder of Selected Tobacco.

Packaged in 25-count black piano lacquer boxes, the Byron Aristocratas 10-Year Aged carries an MSRP of $43.50 per cigar. Distributed exclusively in the U.S. by United Cigars, this release adds to their portfolio, which includes brands like Red Anchor, Firecracker, and the luxury lines of Selected Tobacco such as Atabey, Byron, and Bandolero
