Leading into next month’s annual PCA trade show, Powstanie Cigars has announced the Wojtek War Bear 2025 Grand Perfecto and SBC24 releases, which will be available as pre-orders for retailers that attend the event.
The former cigar is a modified version of the Powstanie Habano blend, making use of an offset barber pole wrapper that consists of Ecuadorian Habano and Mexican San Andrés leaves; this cover surrounds an Indonesian binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. New for this year, the cigars have been rolled in a 5⅞” x 60 perfecto size, which is packaged in 8-count, single-row boxes and limited to 10,000 cigars overall (1,250 boxes). The MSRP has yet to be determined, with a ship date estimated for this spring.
“The War Bear has always been a special project for us, and the Grand Perfecto format takes it to another level,” said Mike Szczepankiewicz, Co-Owner of Powstanie Cigars. “We can’t wait for retailers to purchase this exclusive release at PCA.”
The brand will also be offering the SBC24 (Surrounded by Champions), being a a 5½” x 46 corona gorda with an undisclosed recipe. There were 500 boxes of 20 cigars rolled for the release, which is estimated to ship in Q4 of this year with an MSRP of $16.
