Paul DiSilvio, founder of La Casa Grande Cigar Factory located on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx, is celebrating three decades in the cigar industry with a new venture. Known for his past collaboration with actor Chazz Palminteri on the A Bronx Tale Cigar, DiSilvio has now teamed up with Hollywood actor Martin Kove and cigar maker Sanj Patel to introduce “The Prodigal Son” cigar. The project brings together DiSilvio’s years of craftsmanship, Patel’s innovative approach, and Kove’s creative vision. The cigars are being produced at Patel’s manufacturing facility in the Dominican Republic.

The initial release features a 6 x 52 Toro Vitola, though details about the blend remain undisclosed. Alongside “The Prodigal Son,” a companion cigar called the Toro Maduro will also be offered. Due to limited production capacity, the cigars will first be available exclusively through three retailers: La Casa Grande Cigars, Sanj Smoke Shop, and Smoke Inn. DiSilvio and his partners plan to expand production over time, with broader availability expected by Fall 2025 or 2026. This collaboration marks another chapter in DiSilvio’s career as he continues to leave his mark on the cigar world.
