Casdagli Cigars has announced the expansion of its Brothers of the Sabre line with two new additions – the Epicurist and Vater lines – set to debut at the upcoming InterTabac Dortmund 2024 trade show, from September 19-21. The release pays tribute to two celebrated Napoleonic-era military leaders, General Antoine Charles Louis de Lasalle of France (Epicurist) and Austrian Field Marshal Joseph Radetzky von Radetz (Vater), both renowned not only for their military prowess but also their love of tobacco.
The Epicurist line, honoring the fearless General Lasalle, is crafted in the Dominican Republic using a blend of Dominican fillers, a Dominican binder, and an Ecuadorian Claro Colorado wrapper. Known for its creamy, nutty flavor, the cigar promises a refined experience. The Vater line, meanwhile, reflects Field Marshal Radetzky’s strength with its rich blend of Zimbabwean, Dominican, and USA tobacco. Smokers can expect strong notes of dark chocolate and espresso from this bold cigar.
Both cigars will be available globally in October 2024, priced at $21 for the Figurado and $13.70 for the Petit Robusto. These new releases were blended by master blender Hendrik Kelner Jr. at the Kelner Boutique Factory in the Dominican Republic.
