Dissident Cigars have announced a cigar that pays tribute to punk rock band Plasmatics and lead singer Wendy O Williams. The cigar is simply titled: Plasmatic and is a barber pole featuring Connecticut and Sumatra wrapper. The New York based Plasmatics were a popular underground band in the late 1970’s known mainly for their eccentric lead singer.
“Wendy O. Williams is an icon of punk rock decadence & attitude who is known for going against social norms, her over-the-top on stage antics, and for questioning authority! If that’s not living the life of a Dissident, we don’t know what is!” says owner/blender Cynn Coburn “The PLASMATIC is a tribute to her rebellious lifestyle and legacy!”
