Viaje Ten Plus Two And A Half Anniversary—it’s what’s new from Viaje at IPCPR 2019 and it’s also one of the more fun/clever/lighthearted releases we saw at the show. The name speaks to the craft beer methodology that inspired Andre Farkas 12 and a half years ago—marking a milestone that none have dared to celebrate thus far.

The cigars have already begun shipping as of this writing, with Ten Plus Two And A Half Anniversary arriving in three formats: Silver, Gold, and Red. According to Viaje owner, Andre Farkas, all three blends are unique, though the Silver and Gold showcase similar ingredients on paper: all-Nicaraguan tobaccos harvested from Aganorsa fields, topped with a Criollo ’98 wrapper. The Red blend also features a Nicaraguan Aganorsa interior, though its wrapper is of Mexican San Andrés origin (and the cigar is box-pressed).

Only 350 boxes of Silver and Gold are being offered, with 200 boxes of Red available.
