In a press release today from Quesada Cigars, it was announced that the company’s National Sales Manager Terence Reilly would leave the company on October 31, 2017.
While the full details of the departure were not revealed, explanations such as “The company is heading in a new direction” and Terence’s own pursuit for new opportunities have been mentioned.
Terence is the first cousin once removed from company owner Manuel Quesada, though, due to their age difference, he is often referred to as Manuel’s nephew. Terence joined the family business in 2009 and has since taken on countless roles within the company. He was the face of the brand, the National Sales Manager, and overseer of marketing and logistics as well. Popular brands under Terence’s supervision included the Quesada Oktoberfest, Fonseca Nicaragua, Quesada Q D’etat, and Quesada Reserva Privada.
Quesada Cigars is an advertiser with Cigar Dojo and we’ve worked closely with Terence and the Quesada brand in the process. Earlier this year, the two companies collaborated to release Dojo de Luxe by Quesada Cigars—a limited edition blend that had been in development for a year before the cigar’s final release. Terence is a close friend and we wish him the absolute best in his future endeavors.
