Earlier today on Facebook Fred Rewey posted that he and Illusione Cigars will be parting ways. Fred had joined Illusione in early 2022 as the brand strategist. In his statement Fred indicated that a Reno company will be taking over the role that he held with the company moving forward. Fred didn’t hint as to what his future plans are but did indicate that he will be at the PCA trade show later this month.
I’m also thrilled for helping build up the Illusione following, promoting online conversation, and even creating a retailer portal to better help bring Illusione out of the shadows.
Most of my functions will be transitioned to a local-to-Illusione company in Reno, NV. I wish Dion and the rest of the team all the success and continued growth in the coming months/years.
As for what is next for me… well… I haven’t really decided. Word just got out so weighing all my options – always keeping my passion and enthusiasm in the forefront of any decision.
I will see many of you at PCA in a couple weeks as we continue this transition. The rest of the you…I hope to sit down and have a cigar sometime soon. 😉
