Camacho continues their Live Loud motto to bring the next version of Camacho Factory Unleashed series. The first version of the Factory Unleashed was a big hit with Camacho cigar smokers, and a lot of people were waiting for Unleashed 2 to come out. Camacho has continued to engage its fans with great marketing, bringing the factory and the fields of Honduras to our homes. With continued difficulties in bringing enthusiasts to the Camp Camacho experience, Camacho has improvised, offering Camp Camacho on Dojoverse and actively engaging the public online and in person with events like the Camacho Burger Battles.
The Camacho factory is pushing the limits with the Factory Unleashed series, bringing a spotlight to their state-of-the art Diadema Cigars de Honduras factory in Honduras. Unleashed 2 has the same overall size and design of the original Factory Unleashed cigar, with the characteristic shaggy foot. The blend of the cigar is different though, with the Unleashed 2 being an amped-up Connecticut cigar. It has an Ecuador Connecticut wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and Corojo tobacco from Honduras and Dominican Republic at its core.
Camacho Factory Unleashed 2 Breakdown

The original Factory Unleashed was based around the color black, like a certain heavy metal band’s famed black album debut. Factory Unleashed 2 takes a lighter, rustic marketing appearance for this bold Connecticut.
“Introducing the second release of a blend that represents the unorthodox potential and barrier breaking innovation of our factory is a privilege and an honor. It goes without saying that the mighty Corojo is the core component in the blend that carries our badge of boldness, and the shaggy foot symbolizes the fearless character of the Camacho factory to always push boundaries even further. The aromas and flavor of this blend will indulge the palates of the greatest Camacho die-hards as well as expand the diversity of our portfolio” says Lana Fraser, Director of Marketing.
Camacho Factory Unleashed 2 was released to market in April 2022 with similar packaging to the original release: 10-count paper bundles (total 2,500) and 100-count wooden crates (total 1,000). As with the original release of the Camacho Factory Unleashed, these are a limited release.
Appearance
The paper bundles sport a rustic brown paper with the similar logo of the black, white, and silver Camacho Factory Unleashed logo, but with the addition of a large “2” in the background. The crates are rustic, unfinished wood with branded “Camacho Factory Unleashed” atop the red “2” throughout the exterior and interior. The crate has a miner’s dynamite box look to it. I feel that this packaging is an improvement from the original, and also goes well with the design of this cigar.
The Factory Unleashed 2 has what has now become the classic look of the series: a toro format with a shaggy foot. The wrapper is a light coffee or latte color and is very smooth. The shaggy foot has the wrapper stop approximately 1.5 cm from the end of the cigar, exposing the binder and filler of the toro.

Smoking Experience
Upon lighting the shaggy foot of the Camacho Factory Unleashed 2, flavors of hay and salt hit the palate, and the retrohale has some light black pepper. The shaggy foot does not last long, and I would recommend taking your time to light it—use a soft flame or a single flame torch to be able to experience this part of the cigar and the transition into wrapper. As the burn line transitions from the shaggy foot to the whole cigar combined with the wrapper, the flavors change to a salty, creamy caramel flavor with light notes of cedar. Hints of some musty dough flavor are picked up every so often, producing an almost caramel bread pudding flavor. The retrohale has some light black pepper with chili pepper spice.
The creamy caramel bread pudding flavors pick up more as the smoke experience continues, and stay fairly consistent. The mouthfeel is light and does not coat the palate. For the middle and last part of the cigar, there are toasted wood notes that come and go, hitting the side of the tongue. The retrohale loses the chili spice but continues with light black pepper, later picking up some creamy toasted cashew flavors.
The entire smoking experience is consistent without much transition, except from the shaggy foot to the rest of the cigar. There were more hints of other flavors that just hit and disappear without a trace.
The draw of the Factory Unleashed 2 was slightly tight, but did not take away from the experience. The ash stays on one inch at a time, forming nice light gray and black-lined stacks. The burn was nice and even—it was a slow burn, which was surprising for me.
Would I Smoke This Cigar Again?
Camacho Factory Unleashed 2 is a smoke that you want to fire up again and have two to three bundles on hand. I would smoke this cigar again when I am looking for an amped-up (yet still balanced) Connecticut-type smoke. The cigar was consistent the whole way through, with a sturdy construction lending well to reproducible flavors between samples.
