UPDATE: This contest is over. Clearly the Dojo was hungry for another photo contest as we received literally hundreds of fantastic #oldschool entries. In fact we had so many great entries it took hours to comb through them and pick 2 winners. In the end it was Powderhound and Deford that took home the victory as well as the full box of Macanudo Cafe. Congrats to the winners and thank you to all the folks that participated.

They’re back… Weekly cigar contests have been a staple on the Cigar Dojo app since its inception nearly 4 years ago. And while we took a little break to allow users to refresh or “cleanse the palate”, we simply can’t resist the urge to give away cigars!

Contest Theme: “Old School”

Post your #oldschool entries on Cigar Dojo this week for your chance to win free cigars! What does this mean? Old school is pretty broad, have fun with it—post pics with a retro filter, smoke an old-ass cigar, show us your goofy high school pics, or better yet, take a photo to look like your old high school self (mullet wigs welcome!).

Use #oldschool with entries

To enter the contest:

  1. Take a photo involving the “old school” theme
  2. Post your photo to the Cigar Dojo app
  3. Include hashtag #oldschool

Grand prize

There will be TWO lucky winners this week, each receiving a full box of 25 Macanudo Café cigars in the 6.5″ 42 “Rothschild” vitola. News of Macanudo’s updated packaging came about a month ago, and our winners will have a chance to check out the updated boxes and bands—featuring a more bold look with a shiny metallic gold foil added to the bands. And while the boxes now feature a more modern look, the blend remains the same—boasting a creamy Connecticut shade wrapper over Mexican San Andrés binder and Dominican/Mexican long-fillers. The cigars are mild in profile and make for the perfect start to any day with your morning coffee, or a nice afternoon smoke with a clean and refreshing beverage.
