Foundation El Güegüense Cigar Giveaway

The first question any inquisitive fan will inevitably ask when seeing the new El Güegüense cigar for the first time is, “How the heck am I going to pronounce this?…” Allow us to settle your concerns straight off – El Güegüense = “El wah when say”

Now that that’s all straightened out, let’s get down to the nitty gritty! The cigar is the first line in the new Foundation Cigar Co. founded by ex-Drew Estate blender Nicholas Melillo, aka Nick~R~Agua. Nick got his start working directly under Jonathan Drew at Drew Estate back in ’03. After continuously working his way up the DE ladder, he became an integral part of the DE team, eventually working on blends such as the Liga Privada No. 9, Liga Privada T52, Nica Rustica, Liga Dirty Rat, Liga UF-13, Undercrown Dogma (yes!), and more…

After leaving Drew Estate in early 2014, Nick got to work on his own venture—soon to be known as Foundation. Located in a familiar Estelí, Nicaragua, Nick has setup his new brand as a merging of old-world traditions with modern-day styles and customs to produce unique premium cigars. The first cigar, El Güegüense, is intrinsically Nicaraguan—boasting a puro blend and inspired from Nicaragua’s signature folkloric masterpiece (theatrical play) of the same name.

This week’s contest theme is: What’s your foundation?

Yeah, we know, we love a good play on words… This week’s contest is simple—show us, the Dojo community, your foundation (i.e. your rock, base, thing that keeps you going!) for a chance to win some of the industry’s hottest cigars!

Some examples of an entry may be:

Smoke a cigar with your family
Smoke in (or near) your prized automobile
Show the Dojo your cigar collection
