Over the past two years, La Palina has released a new Goldie cigar under the La Palina Collection, a special series of limited edition cigars. This year’s edition is dubbed the Laguito Especial, a 7″ x 40 lancero that, as usual, is rolled at the famous El Titan de Bronze factory in Miami, Florida. It requires a high level of expertise to roll a cigar of this size, and La Palina has ensured that their Goldie cigars are of the highest quality, being rolled by arguably the best cigar roller in the world, Maria Sierra. She has rolled every cigar in the Goldie series, consisting of 60,000 cigars in total.

La Palina Goldie Lancero cigar review and pairing

La Palina Goldie Laguito Especial
Though not our personal favorite Goldie cigar (tough to beat the original No. 2), this does rank highly in this paramount series. Few cigars come close to the level of construction and complexity offered in this beautiful cigar for the 2014 season.
